First of all, you need to determine if you still own the former EGS shares now as OBM or not.

The OBM company secretary will be able to tell you this, so will your broker, and also the share registry with whom the EGS shares were once held, like Link Market Services for example, because I'm sure who EGS used as it's share registry.

In other words, when EGS was recapitalized, were the shares for each shareholders transferred over on a 1 for 1 basis (or some other formula) into OBM, or not.

You will need to contact the secretary at OBM to find this information.

If they were transferred, then you still own the shares and can trade the OBM shares normally.

If they were not, and the EGS shares were wiped out in the recapitalization, then you will not own any shares in OBM, and therefore you can take a taxation loss on the "last" value of your EGS shares (the ones that are now effectively completely gone).

If you owned 10,000 shares, and EGS was put into administration at 5 cents, then your claimable taxation loss would be $500

To get the tax loss, you will need to contact the company that was used as Administrators of the EGS estate, and ask them for a letter stating that for tax purposes, the former EGS shares can be used as a taxation loss because they have effectively been written off. Give this letter to your accountant at tax preparation time.
