    No I am not a downramper. I will admit the rudeness of some of the uprampers here has made me put in more effort to investigating BIT225 than I would usually, but this is only good for anyone thinking of investing in BIT.

    First, the study was from 2 years ago (August 2016), not that that makes the slightest bit of difference to the results published.

    Second, the perception in the scientific community is that BIT225 is highly toxic especially to T-cells. This is going to raise the bar significantly for any possible pharma collaboration.

    Third, dropping the dosage of BIT225 to avoid toxic side effects is only going to exacerbate resistance problems.

    Forth, there is no scientific evidence that BIT225 is having any positive clinical effect on HIV progression, nor is there any long term toxicology data in humans. The most generous reading of the recent press release is that BIT225 is having some effect on some immune cells that is consistent with the hypothesis that BIT225 might be useful in treating HIV-1.
