bit v blt

Hey all,

I sincerely apologise if these queries have been asked before and answered in previous posts. I have only recently been made aware of another ASX listed company with a far higher market cap (BENITEC BIOPHARMA LIMITED) which appears (to me) to be a major risk to the future of BIT, in the sense they are also working towards treatments for HCV and HIV. They are spruiking a one shot cure in terms of HCV.

There must be a large number of companies around the world working on treatments and vaccines for HCV and HIV so the risk is huge in terms of who will win that race. But all the recent announcements and information filtering out from BIT has kept me very interested.

Do you believe BLT is a genuine risk to BIT? Has anyone done any comparative research and found that BLT's treatments are less effective/safe/proven up as opposed to BIT?

Any comments you believe might be of interest would be sincerely appreciated.
