regarding using the term 'cure' for COVID. It is appropriatley used here as it is within the normal convention for its use.
The word is used when referring to therapeutics...... take this medicine,. it will cure you.....
We don't use it in the same manner in association with having a vaccine.
Sometimes therapeutics don't cure you, and antivirals for HIV are the obvious exampe. But they do partly cure you. Hopefully this will change soon if 225 clears all hidden reservoirs. If so, we will say.... take 225, it will cure you of your 225.
Continuing with the Engish convention, if 225 is given to a sick patients with C-19, and they recover, we will also say that the antiviral cured them.
So us saying now that BIT225 is a potential cure for C-19, is quite valid.
If true though, is yet to be seen .
