Satoshi originally had a vision for bitcoin to be a peer to peer cash transfer system that is decentralised with large transaction capacity... This is bitcoin cash...Satoshi believed that bitcoin can scale to be a real threat to existing transaction methods... Bitcoin cash will be able to scale much higher than the 8mb it currently has...As it stands its 8x more than the current bitcoin...
Bitcoin has evolved as being more of a store of value than a cash transfer system, like gold... This was not satoshi's vision...
By implementing segwit2x, this could become less decentralised in that most of the supporters were employed by a private company which could gain access...
Right now we are seeing a transfer of money from bitcoin to bitcoin cash because there are doubts whether it will ever be able to scale and gain enough support...Both could keep existing but Bitcoin Cash can scale much higher and is the bitcoin that satoshi had in mind...
I just wish Satoshi comes out and helps this system become what he had believed...
