Bitcoins original purpose has been lost, now it's full of speculators hoping to strke it rich, billionaires trying to get richer and down right fomo fools and gamblers. Add on lending, dereivatives and ETF's + 'legal tender' status in two dirt poor nations and you have the real possibility of this disaster causing another financial crisis. Human greed and the heart of it all again. Satoshi mate, where the F are you?
