Don't confuse number of people trading bitcoin with people who believe naive stuff about Bitcoin.
Who in the world would want to buy pair of jeans with "currency" they can buy house with in 6 months? Lol
Blockchain tech will stay, and it's a valuable tech.
But Bitcoin doesn't own that.
Hell, there are 300 crypto-currencies out there.
Without being able to charge for blockchain tech proprietary rights, Bitcoin intrinsic value is 0.
