There would be many coins/tokens that would or should be worthless as well as many stocks on the sharemarket.
There would be many coin/tokens that have good applications as is there many stocks.
So no one can say all cryptos or all stocks are worthless.

It is a matter of finding good ones at a good price.
Advantage of cryptos is they are trading 24/7 and many have large vol and large swings which is ideal for traders.
Disadvantages are some have been hacked so security is an issue.
I am waiting for blockbid which is a Melbourne based company which will have your coins/tokens fully insured against being hacked.
I also have a holding of their tokens and they have a market cap of around $3.5 mill USD while say Kucoin has a m/c of $6 to 700 mill.
I would favor a coins or token that has appllications and potential revenue and profit rather than plain currency.
