Unlike a business a coin does not go broke with shares going to zero Although a coin can go to zero it can be left stranded at the last recorded transaction price if no one wants it giving a false sense of value . Value is determined by supply and demand if no one is buying it regardless of whether it is showing as being zero ,hundreds or thousands of dollars it is worthless
