At least when you buy a share or stock you have assets and earnings. Not so with all (most) cryptos. It's simply a meaningless token that goes up and down with an endless supply of new coins to be made. Your so called bullet proof wallet can be hacked from your desktop, and exchanges can be shutdown permanently in an instant. The price can crash before you have time to send the damn thing to the exchange, countries can ban it. You can't earn it from a job so in a sense it's not even a currency, just a play thing.
