Bitcoin can be sent almost instantaneously and almost free, to anywhere in the world. It sits on an incorruptible ledger that all can see. At any moment in time it is possible to see the number of btc in circulation. It cannot be confiscated. I buy bitcoin for the same reason I buy gold, a hedge against inflation. Btc now sits on the balance sheets of S&P 500 companies. Personally, the more I learn about btc the more I'm convinced of its role in our future. Mike Maloney recommended his clients hold btc in 2014.
