Gold has been around for thousands of years ago and has been tested during the GFC or another world financial crisis, it has performed very well as safe haven.
Bitcoin, however, it's still new and hasn't been tested for the safe haven during the GFC, Jim Rickards himself mentioned this statement recently in the Interview with CNBC.
