How do you think they would do that? Bitcoin is decentralised P2P across the planet. You can't immediately confiscate somebody's Bitcoin wallet and use their Bitcoin because it's encrypted. Saying you're going to 'bust bitcoin' is like saying you're going to make the earth stop rotating on its axis. Equally ludicrous. You could nuke all human life out of existence causing Bitcoin to be worth nothing, but Bitcoin would technically still remain.
