    0 Good afternoon Australia, As you may have received our previous mail about spam/ phishing emails and text messages that are still being sent around. In some cases, these have had very similar colouring and design as our branding.See this example below; Please do be aware that as we previously stated we are not sending these e-mails out that claim things like the following;
    ‘You have won X amount of bitcoin in a prize pool’‘There is X amount of bitcoin in your wallet, redeem here ‘Please claim bitcoin from your account. Now valued at $11,090’

    From anyone that purports to be ‘Bitcoin’, ‘Bitcoin Australia’, ‘Bitcoin Traders’ etc. It is important to ignore and disregard e-mails that have come from any domain other than [email protected], or @bitcoin.com.au along with SMS. As the bitcoin network is a distributed system meaning there is no single entity that has central ownership over, it is prone to people misrepresenting and attempting to scam individuals through these phishing attempts.Keep your bits safe Australia!Enjoy the rest of your week.
