But why?

Why are they screening first-time customers manually? What does “manually” mean anyway? If the money is there, and I’m sure they won’t be selling bitcoins on credit to a first time customer, what’s the issue? And what price do you pay for your bitcoin, price at time of order, or at time of approval?

It sounds pretty clunky for what is supposed to be the epitome of technology.
