I suppose they looked at it , asked some people to read the code and report back . Report would have said"code is spaghetti , a load of old toss with 2 inflation bugs and a history that includes someone finding out how to print as many free BTC as they wanted to but was so honest that he spilled the beans" then they would have compared the level of development compared to other crypto and notice that the primary devs have moved on to other things....I wonder what due diligence looks like to you ? strangely so much of institutional $ has skipped past that and still bought in .
