So just to settle the air away from where I reside.

POW is what makes and gives BTC dominance and power. If you took that away from the system it would not be as effective nor far reaching as it is.

BTC gives the unbanked the opportunity to participate in the first would by circumnavigating the legacy system we know as fiat.

POS is centralising control to a few, the gate keepers, controllers of backdoor keys, the printers of money are the head of the snake, which at anytime they can deflate value of stack by inflating the number of new "Tokens/Coins/paper money" and introducing them into the system.
    POS is fiat currency.

POS is what our current model is based upon, full of corruption and bureaucrats.

BTC is a system outside the control of government, the only nation who had any chance of controlling BTC was China.
What a blunder they have made, going from the only country having any chance of stopping the decentralised financial system to falling back onto their own ego with a push for the digital yuan.

That's what happens when the head wants to control the system, that is why the people are choosing a system outside control. They can impose regulation, they can implement bans, they can try anything they want to control it, but IMO BTC is out of the states control. Some may control pathways (on and off ramps) to the system (BTC network) but work arounds are already in place, set your VPN to a country outside your controlling jurisdiction and enjoy the freedom of other jurisdictions. memorise your seed phrase and move to a country that allows freedom to use your hodlings.

Look without shilling my bags too much, I have put 1000's of hours into BTC the network, BTC the currency, the current fiat system and somewhat educated on the lightening network, and if I need more education I find it. You would make a case for any other token or coin, but I will tell you now, I am well researched in BTC so I do feel comfortable in knowing the subject.

You original post is valid, I concur that people should beware that many are looking to hedge against the inflation within the current legacy system. So people should be thinking of ways to counter the ebb.
Are we there yet? I really hope not cause I have to much tied up in the company, I sincerely hope JW pulls his finger out so at least the people who are still in the red can get a bag at least to justify "HODLING" as long as we have.

    Anyhow back to normal programming.
