Bar Ww3 can't seethzt happening in my lifetime. govt have always printed money: they need to. population increases; ave wage increases ..countries economy grows ..pandemics happen that require extra spending.. these things are nothing new..all that's changed is that now btc mainly is being portrayed as an alternative.. but isn't actually used as a currency for the most part.. find it hard to get my head around..
Gordon you may not have suggested btc will replace gold but again I question the comparison of scarcity with btc and gold..the latter is a finite resource that we can't just create..and that's been the case for many thousands of yrs .btc has been around for 5 mins by comparison and could very easily be replaced by a more efficient crypto in the future ...unlike gold
