It is important to note that most pricing when buying stuff with crypto is that it is based on a stable coin or the fiat currency. So is not different to buying something in AUD using USD.
However countries like Venezuela and Zimbabwe where a loaf of bread can increase by 40% daily the ability to use crypto removes some of that wealth destruction as they will just use less of their crypto to buy the bread.
You can earn interest on crypto, there are crypto credit cards and when we hit a billion people using crypto it will start forming a critical mass. I'm happy to trade and invest in cryptos but the majority of my surplus cash is tether (USDT)
No need to bet the house yet but I do believe involvement is a must as there is so much momentum and acceptance.
