Yes some people have been saying btc is all bs for yrs and others have been saying it'll be used everywhere shortly for years and be worth 500k+ shortly for yrs too..
when btc fell from 20k to 3.5k all the "crypto experts "were telling people to buy the dip at 17k 15k 13k etc.. these "experts" were also saying buy the dip at 55k us recently too before it dropped another 35-40%.
my opinion ignore the noise from both sides as nobody really has any idea what btc will be worth in 10 yrs or in 3 months for that matter.
1 thing I will say is the volatility / crazy swings provide opportunities to make a lot of $ for those who are able / lucky enough to pick good entry and exit points
