Don't disagree with you on most of those points. But the smartest person on currently earth who's been able to translate the most edge ideas and concepts into insane business models thinks there's a place for crypto somewhere down the track so I'd back that than my current understanding.

My guess is that it will play a role at the next structure change to fiat which has proven to have a record of resetting itself once in a long while. That alone has at least a 30%-40% odds of playing out.

But yes currently just a spec instrument 100%.
