A 2017 research report from Vested Equities described Cryptocurrency as an emerging asset class, noting there were several characteristics that make Bitcoin more attractive than traditional government backed currencies. Chhai Ung is an analyst at Vested and it is not surprising that investors were taking an interest when established, creditable analysts appear to have been supportive with these types of comments. Thomas Lee, a bullish New York analyst still values Bitcoin at between $13,800 and $14,800. Not sure Thomas is being listened to.
