Estonia is a blockchain pioneer

Estonia has used a blockchain technology called Keyless Signature Infrastructure to ensure the integrity of key government data and systems since 2008.

Since that time, we have seen a global rise in the demand for ways to enable trust in cross-border business transactions, be it with the Bitcoin architecture introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto’s whitepaper, or with the world’s first concept for e-Residency launched by Estonia in 2014.

We are happy to preserve the original Bitcoin whitepaper here on our website as a source of inspiration for future innovators looking to understand how to use blockchain technology in support of facilitating cross-border business and other applications.

As far as we are aware, this is the first time that the original Bitcoin whitepaper has been hosted on a government domain. #BitcoinPDF
