No you need to pay the company .06 per share to convert them to heads. So if you had 100k oppies you pay 6k to Biotron for the conversion. Or you could just sell them on market which I have done in the past very successfully. It's all about leverage.
The problem I see with oppies is liquidity and if a stock is falling out of favour exiting can be very difficult.
