If Australians didn't rack up so much debt with other people's money, and that includes farmers, there would be no need for foreign money to help prevent a very painful deleveraging period which undeniably lies ahead.
Ask yourself whether you, your family and your friends would like living in an economic environment where house and land prices were in freefall because there are no buyers to pick up the assets overinflated by borrowed money. That will suck most of the middle class into a European style debt mess. Yeah real win for Australia!!! Wake up comrades!
