Luis, have you considered that NC put up margin calls as the price was going down, and the sale represented the point where he was no longer willing to pay further margin calls.
I'd be very surprised if CS allowed the situation without margin calls or other security for the loan. Maybe that's why NC has been selling other assets of late?
