BIV could be a cheap way of playing a rally with this takeover activity by Barrick Gold for TKA. Rationale being that BVI hold 2,000,000 TKA shares which grosses them $1,600,000 at the 80c cash Barrick price for TKA. BIV also own 6,774,289 IDG shares which are expected to rise when they resume trading soon.

What valuation will the market put on IDG? They closed at 40.5c so BIVs holding in IDG is at least worth $2,743,587 to them but probably more as IDGs value will increase when released from their trading halt.
