Does anyone remember Micromedical, they made a great artificial heart, it was tested successfully on some patients keeping some alive for over 12 months from memory but unfortunately like many great inventions from medical startups it went under. One of the big benefits of the Micromedical heart was that the pump did not damage blood. Hopefully these guys have better support.
