IMO Mermaid was way oversold in the first place.
While the oil and gas world is hardly great, Mermaid are are still operating at positive cash flow even in these market conditions.
I also think management and the team are doing a great job operating appropriately in these conditions.
The current SP is a fraction if NTA. Indeed the whole market cap is less than their cash at bank!
And the oil storm will pass. The way we are going there will be an oil shortage in 2 or 3 years time...
All good reasons to buy for patient investors.

And it does hurt re potential for dividends.
Mermaid recently was paying 12.5 cents per share per year in dividends, fully franked!
Need to be realistic it might not pay dividends for a year or 2, but, based on a share price of 25 cents that's a 50 percent per year dividend return!
No risk, no reward.
All IMO of course.
