Interesting. Bjorn Lomborg is saying that Bangladesh could benefit massively from importing coal ("In all, each taka spent [on importing coal] would do 23 takas of social good."). And BL accepts the 'man-made global warming' nonsense.

What a tragedy that so many governments have succumbed to so-called "green" pressure and restricted access to cheap efficient energy sources. What a tragedy that the blinkered university in WA wouldn't host BL.

But I'm still optimistic that SMR will continue to grow, and if countries like Bangladesh start importing coal, then that can only help. I can't see PM Bill Shorten stopping coal exports as that would end up hurting unions. I can see PM Malcolm Turnbull making daft decisions if winning an election goes to his head,  but hopefully his party will be able to keep him reined in as necessary.
