I don't think ASIC care if shares are available to be shorted - I think they want to know how many shares and what % of the free float have been shorted. Anyway there was around 200k shares or $32k worth of shares shorted in mar apr may now there is 1 share or 16c shorted. I'm just saying I'm not sure this stat means anything - but each to their own on how they use this information I guess.
