Feb# and golden ratio seems show some natural beauties in macro scale, but in micro scale the nature shows extremely ragged.
Mathematics could be tedious and insightless about the future. Some of the market players use the math are for the sake of the quick money only and think the math could beat down Mr.Market, which, if not idiotic, is childish.
Mathematicians are born, never made but the money has to be made. Math care about the elegance and quality. The market players need to get the profit in long run.
The math like any tools can help you get the job done but also could put you into the trap.
