A 10% fall tonight, conceivable, despite trading halts if necessary, brings the Dow down to 7820, far short of McHugh's "triangle" target.
So it will require a second night of that magnitude, and even then, the combined fall, 1650, will still be 400 points short.
Of course, it doesn't have to play out that way.
