OK, so my logic would be placed in fear - fear is rife. No-one will think about putting highly leveraged money into stocks TODAY. What happens if the US market falls further, they can always invest on monday.
Same for the US - what happens if something bad happens over the weekend - there is always monday.
Based on that, I think we could see the market drop further later in the day, and then on monday.
