If you apply Newtonian physics then the gravity of black holes let nothing escape including light - that's why they're black
However the weirdness of Quantum mechanic allows for particles to escape
in QE for particles to appear spontaneously in empty space and in random locations

I must admit I only have a partial understanding of Quantum Mechanics!
