re: black monday !!! Very difficult to get a crash in the US...If my memory severs me right they stop trading on the dow if it falls 400 or 500 points in a night.
The US govt also has a plung protection team PPT to make sure all falls are orderly.
They can even shut the market for longer if they feel people are being excessive with selling.
We are a resource based economy...there is no reason for us to crash...our banks are strong...bhp and rio are strong...no reason for a crash here unfortunately as I would love one
