Hey Johnny reb, it comes down to trust, faith and patience, three things that are looking a little worn out and approaching ‘use by date’, lol, ... for some!
Trust in that ‘new’ mangerment are the real deal, faith that they are in actual negotiations with several entities in realisation of OBJ tech, for other applications other than beauty, and PATIENCE to wait till relevant announcement made.
Said it before, a sp sensitive announcement is the bottom line, company hype/vision/forecasts/spiel, HC hopes and wishes etc all for nought until that time, meanwhile, trust, faith and patience till then.
Do investors honestly expect the company to say ‘That deal fell thru, we are running out of money and we will need to do a CR, going it alone is our last throw of the dice, it will be another two years before we see sp appreciation, fund managers have reservations at this point in time and so on.
Temper expections, I believe the turn around will happen when OBJ science is implentmented in a second application, other than beauty, it would be a reasonable expection that this would then expand and flow on to other applications ..... the ice needs to be broken, imo, to validate this science. If I was on the BOD, lol, (me, a dumb ass!) I would be willing to accept a lower rate of royalty, for say BG, for the ‘break in period’, to get OBJ on the radar of serious investors.
OBJ story needs more substance, significant and long term on going revenue from P&G will keep the story alive for a while yet, imo, enough to prosper on or not? .....
Also on their first page on the web it states at
www.obj.com.au
"Obj is a global leader in magnetically enhanced transdermal molecular delivery technology." now this next part is the interesting bit "From drugs, analgesics, oral health to beauty and skin care products were driving innovation and constantly creating new and more effective delivery techniques for our commercial partners "
Anyone who reads this would rightly assume that OBJ has COMMERCIAL PARTNERS (Plural) Yet what is the reality (we know so far ) P & G is one... what or who else...
It would be nice if our "commercial partners" actually used our tech in drugs , analgesics, oral health etc... No point constantly creating stuff no-one wants to take up ?? Or have they taken it up and until launch remains highly confidential???
The statements that OBJ have said in ASX releases, and what their web site says would lead anyone to believe P & G is not our only partner. The market is pricing OBJ as a 1 trick pony or 1 partner company... If OBJ are so upfront with the plural (partners) why is that we scratch our heads as shareholders trying to join dots as to who we may or are still involved with and have deals done...
The OBJ statement reads that the "Partners" have requested or wanted OBJ to develop things for them... or is OBJ just making things that they ask , then showing the partners, then they walk away every time? Is OBJ being strung along by other huge multi nationals ? We have learnt our lesson with timeframes with P & G..2014 was to be the year ...4 years on we are way behind where we started...
OBJ's statement to me appears far more concrete than wishy washy "potential" deals.. We just need a bit more accurate disclosure , and that could ignite a rocket under the share price.
