Ps, google poultices mate......there are lots of them.....when we were kids in the bush poultices were the norm for drawing out splinters amongst other things if they couldn't be dug out with a needle....as for the cancers, got no idea but I'm like you, seems a bit like naturapaths, not my cup of tea....
