black saturday victims forgotten and abandoned

Neil Mitchell popped up and said so - for one day. Then. All these people have been forgotten, again. Just statistics - people's sad fates, not talked about - any more.

Did ANYONE meet their end by being burnt to death that day? One would not think so - going by the current public mentality.

Lots of charts and calculations - about everything else - but no, would would not think anyone had suffered, let alone died. Babies and children, too, met ghastly deaths - one would not think so, hearing some of the hilarity - and the egos - of those who think they know all. Of what happened - and what people are going though. SO many lives ruined.

Another family I know "hit the dust" this week - lost everything - their Xmas to be bleak - unless friends pitch in - (As I hope they will!) -
father can no longer cope - has had a complete breakdown - another family member can't work anymore - ever - in their chosen profession - having been injured that night - even though having lost the lot - and a hero of that day - their health permanently affected, as it turns out.

The suicides in these areas tragic and much more frequent than the general public will ever hear about.

Schoolkids still on anti-depressants - their parents live on a diet of hopelessness.

Yes, hard, cruel hearts abound. And so do out and out lies.

(Or lies, more like it, via omission.)

Yes, these areas have been abandoned. No-one cares. If these people complain - they're whingeing(or greedy!).

Some of the hardest hearts within the very organisations which should be flat out helping them.
