The council has been fighting for ground for over 25 years that i know of to open for housing and other requirements but everything has some type of mining application on it and know body wants to just hand them in . People may think town should have plenty of ground available but not the case all has to be sorted with state gov and we know how long that will take. i am reluctant to say too much here but their is rumblings that they may turn over trotting ground to a company to turn into a camp as is only large parcel of ground that is suitable and possibly available ( as trotts are closed ) but shite will hit the fence if it goes ahead as you need to understand the general population is also against it.
