    If the nett debt figure gets to say $150 billion, at 4.5% that's 6.75 billion dollars of interest every year that has to be paid. You can build a lot of schools or roads for that sort of cabbage.

    And the nett debt itself also has to be paid back, or at least maintained via interest payments.
