You have to remember though that the London Rio rises and falls much more quickly than the Australian one.
Rio rose nearly 30 per cent yesterday and dropped 35 per cent today. Hardly reassuring but I think it may be in for a 10 to 20 per cent drop.
Either way I'm bailing out of Rio. Sick of heavily-indebetted companies, that can all just go collapse. Rio could have atleast bought Alcan in a downcycle, or better yet first saved up US$20 billion.
I wish Alcoa had bought Alcan and not Rio.
