Watched a little bit of bean, but I find him a little frustrating - but would be one the kids would love to watch I'm sure.
Watching a series is nice with them, as it is something we can share and look forward to without being at the behest of the TV programmers and adverts.
I also do that for TV shows I want to watch with my wife (such as House and Dexter at the moment - two excellent shows but not really appropriate for the kids!)
