Sky News host Rowan Dean has blasted Energy Minister Chris Bowenfor his “lowballed cost” of transitioning Australia’s power.

MrDean said there are claims the energy minister “lowballed" the cost oftransitioning the country’s power grid to net zero by as much as a hundredbillion dollars.

“What’s that to a Labor pollie?” Mr Dean said.

“That’sa hundred billion dollars of your money extra that’s going to be splurged inthis net zero comedy show.”

TheSky News host said Mr Bowen has been “wasting all our money on hopelesslyinefficient renewables”.
