Abbas denounces 'Zionist enemy'

The frontrunner for the Palestinian presidency, Mahmoud Abbas, has denounced an Israeli attack that killed at least seven Palestinians, including six members of the same family.

Six members of the Palestinian family and their neighbour were standing in their strawberry fields in northern Gaza when the Israeli tank shell hit them.

The Israeli Army says it fired at a group of masked militants, who were setting up missile launchers in the family's field.

Five of the dead were aged between 10 and 16.

Palestinian witnesses say the militants fled before the tank opened fire, and the shell hit the children and teenagers who had rushed out into the fields to watch the action.

At a campaign rally in Gaza Mr Abbas urged supporters to pray for those martyred by what he denounced as the "Zionist enemy".

It is the most scathing attack so far by Mr Abbas, who is viewed by Israel and the United States as a moderate and possible peace partner.

However his latest comments are seen as a marked escalation in his campaign rhetoric.

If you view these deaths objectively then really what honest conclusion can you come to.
But people don't view things that way do they ??
