Ventilators do cause fibrosis of the lung ...... so you get a tick for that one.

The heart is separate. This is what Professor Bob Graham of the VIctor Chang insitute says:

" How does coronavirus (COVID-19) affect the heart?

It causes an acute myocarditis and acute inflammation of the heart and it causes acute injury to the heart muscle so the heart doesn't function as well. "

Damage to organs including the brain caused by COVID related blood clotting is another tangent for you should read up on.

Also, the virus seems to affect different people in different ways. A person who suffers only "mild" respiratory systems is still "likely" to suffer heart inflammation. Note that the study I posted pointed to around 60% of "recovered" parients suffering a degree of ongoing heart inflammation. Recovered patients were selected for that study regardless of their level of respiratory illness severity.

Also note that the COVID-19 virus enters organs such as the heart. It causes some heart muscle cells to die. The dead heart muscle cells will be replaced by scar tissue ...... as is the case with infected lungs.
