Surely this is the crucial bit - the rest is just final formalities - paperwork/signatures. Patience.
And all this just happens to be over Xmas/New Year.
Personally I would prefer the formal announcement to be in the week starting 11th Jan when most players/investors/punters/professionals would be back at work - makes for better market impact IMO.
