Its been the governments call to fix this shorting problem which they infact are aware of and have been sitting on their proverbial arse all this time.
This could have a potential impact on our economy as investors wealth has been erroded and confidence in the market Zapped.
If Kevin Rudd is such a great man why has he not addressed this issue with great urgency just as Hank Paulson has in the United states...
Rudd is not a great leader..he is a professional diplomat thats all.
As much as I disliked the liberal party I would suggest that Malcolm Turnbull having been an investment banker and quite wealthy would have more of a grip on this situation and would have addressed it by now. One would hope anyway.
