so are you saying that you think those on the aged pension are bludging on the taxpayer.?.... people that worked in low paid jobs all their lives and paid their taxes (PAYE rate) deserve nothing more than be left own the pittance of their scattered superannuation accumulations?

the aged pension is so low that many struggle just to eat and pay some energy bills. they can only live somewhat comfortably if they aren't paying rent or the remnant of their mortgage.
