Wondering if anybody could help me with a question regarding safe distance from open pit blasting?
What is the minimum safe distance a person could stand behind the face of the blast zone when the shot is fired?
Are there regulations that determine the exclusion zone depending on size of the shelf, shot method used, amount of explosive used et etc....and if so where would i find these?
I ask with regard to regulations for a NSW based operation.
